Christmas Eve Workout



Twas the day before Christmas, when all through the gym
Not a CrossFitter was stirring, or moving a limb.
The Jump Ropes were hung on the wall with care,
In hopes that Coach James soon would be there.

When out of the room there arose such a clatter,
They sprang from the mats to see what was the matter.
Away through the Box we flew like a flash,
Tore open the doors with a loud smash.

With a wise old coach, so lively and strong,
we knew in a moment the WOD would be long.
More rapid than eagles his athletes they came,
And he whistled, and shouted, and called them by name!

"Now Jen! now Alana! now Julie and Kristi!
Go Alan! go Dallas! go Annalynn and Jenny!
To the top of the Mountain! to the top of the wall!
Now dash away! Dash away! Then Throw up that ball!"
We sprang to the mats, weights in our hands,
Hoping that after, we’d be able to stand.
Then we heard him exclaim, “Let’s do what we know,”
"Is everyone ready, 3-2-1 GO!"


"12 Days of CrossFit" - done like the song:

On the first day of CrossFit, my awesome coach gave to me, 1- Hand Stand in The Crowley Box
On the 2nd day of CrossFit my awesome coach gave to me, 2 Burpees and a HandStand in The Crowley Box
On the 3rd day of CrossFit my awesome coach gave to me, 3 Pull ups, 2 Burpees and 1 HandStand The Crowley Box... etc.

For time:
1 Hand Stand
2 Burpees
3 situps
4 clean & jerks (35/20)
5 Horizontal Rings
6 Wall Ball Tosses
7 kb swings
8 Mountain Climbers
9 squats
10 pushups
11 pullups
12 Box jumps
