Thursday - Active recovery day

What a crazy leg day yesterday. I have had so many Texts and Calls today about being sore and what should we all do (aside from moaning for our moms). There are several things that we can do like warm up and stretch, rest, or do an active recovery workout.

The idea behind an active recover day is to get our bodies back at it to speed up some of the healing process without overdoing hypertrophy (muscle use) again. By doing this, your heart speeds up and sends blood faster to help the waste products in our body clear out faster.

An active recovery day will also help you acheive your weight loss goals by not just sitting at home "resting".

40 partner tire pushes

Every 2 minutes for 10 minutes
5 Knees to elbows
10 Med ball push ups
15 Sit ups
20 Mountain climbers

Tabta - Burpees/1 arm 1 leg planks
