Wednesday - WOD 109 - WOD For GOD



As your CrossFit journey continues, remember that you will hear and see many explanations about the same thing.

There is always something to be said for accepting advice. The best thing that you can do is to listen to all, learn from most, and reject very little.
I understand that sometimes advice comes in groups of about 100, but all advice comes from the heart.
The same with compliments. I know that when you are struggling and not feeling very "Awesome" it is hard to hear how "awesome" you are doing during a WOD when all you want to do is just get it over with.

However, a compliment is often the driving force behind age-old-wisdom. For me, when I am beat, I mean really beat and tired, hearing a voice tell me to keep going is sometimes all that I need. That voice may come from my wife, one of you, or even my 2 year old daughter. Either way, that voice is just enough to pull together some extra strength to finish one more round.

In that voice, no matter who it is form, there is wisdom. The wisdom comes from our own struggle to make sense of things with Life and CrossFit. The wisdom is simple:
The way of a fool is right in his own eyes, but a wise man listens to advice.
Proverbs 12:15
 So don't be afraid to listen to advice and accept compliments this week.
Always remember to keep up the good work and don't forget what is needed to get things done.
