Wednesday - WOD 126 - WOD for GOD


Today I wanted to talk about our plans for the future. Sometimes as humans, and Americans, we put too much emphasis on money and being on top of the world.
I can say that I too often ponder about our place in the world as a CrossFit Box. I ask myself if we are doing what needs to be done for our members to be the best they can be.

And I always walk away from my own thoughts knowing that we are in fact doing all of the things needed to help our small CrossFit family be the best that they can be.
This involves good programming, small classes, fellowship and faith.

And God has blessed us with a growing community, many loyal members, and a prosperous CrossFit Box. 

It's not about being the biggest, filling up our classes, or even making the most money that we possibly can.
In this same fashion, I hope that you can look into your life and realize that wealth and happiness is not all about money.

It is in fact about the relationships you have with God, your family, and your friends.
But don't worry about the money, your life will still have direction:
Hebrews 13:5  
Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
But you do have to make a decision on which direction you want to go, because you truly can not have your cake and eat it to.
Matthew 6:24
“No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money.
