Wednesday - WOD 84 - WOD for God & the Q-Bomb

1 Corinthians 9:24-25

"Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. 25 Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training.
So many know this first part of the Scripture. It gives many of us the fuel that we need to run harder and workout longer. However, the lesson is not in this first part. The lesson is in the second part of the scripture from Paul
"They do it to get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever. "

I love this passage because I sometimes forget why I train.
Do we really think that winning a competition makes us better than others?
By lifting more or running faster does that bring us closer to our real prize in heaven?

Or does our CrossFit journey help us to realize our own strengths which in turn make us better Christians by giving us the confidence to win "real" victories?

Take some time to think about why you train. What drives you to be in shape? To workout harder? To get stronger?

Think about those things when you are doing this workout today.
