I am always so excited to talk about our CrossFit Family.
What started out as a few friends working out at the Park 3 years ago has
turned into the true definition of a Family. We workout together, we struggle
together, and we share in each other's defeats and victories.
When I think about how our group has come together and
embraced each other, I am very proud. Unlike some might think, I am
very proud to see each one of you leaning on each other for support, guidance
and even coaching.
To me, it is an honor to see someone teach another person
something that I taught them days or even months earlier. Then seeing those 2 people working
together to teach another... priceless!
That is the true definition of FAMILY!
Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up! ~Ecclesiastes 4:9-10
Together our group
has had so many victories and overcome so many challenges.
Many times we have talked
about why we do CrossFit in the first place.
Some do it for health reasons, others do it because they like the daily stress relief that you can get from CrossFit. Either way, getting to the Box is a struggle for most. We call it "The Daily Grind."
In this Struggle, we find support again within our CrossFit
family. We are here to support each other and to help each other with our
Goals. Whether those goals are to lose weight, get stronger, or just be happier... We are all here for each other.
And don't worry, we have support from our Lord as well:
For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them ~Matthew 18:20
