Wednesday - WOD 201 - WOD for God


Recently I had the chanced to talk to one of our athletes about her struggle with body image and how CrossFit has changed all of that.
Too often we are worried about how we look, what we are going to do tonight, or how people think about us.
We are all human, and it is human nature to have anxiety about these things.
However, we need to be comforted to know that we should not worry, God has our back.
Whatever we need, he will provide.

Matthew 6:25-26

Do Not Worry

25 “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? 26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them.

Endurance:
800 Meter Run
At the 400 Meter mark do 20 squats
At the 800 Meter mark do 30 jump n jacks
Back to the 400 Meter mark do 20 squats
At the finish line do 30 jump n jacks

Empty Bar warm up
5 shrugs
5 high pulls
5 muscle cleans
5 behind the neck presses

WOD
Five rounds of:
155 pound Deadlift, 12 reps
155 pound Hang power clean, 9 reps
155 pound Push jerk, 6 reps
