The other day I found myself cursing the bar I was lifting.
"Why are you so heavy?" AND "I am so mad at you right now for not being easier?"
Sounds crazy right? But I was having a long-exhausting day and realized that I needed something to take it out on.
Then after several attempts & failures I realized something....
"Why am I taking out my frustrations on something that is here to make me better?"The bar is a tool that I can use to my benefit to enhance my life! It can make me stronger, faster, and healthier. So why was I so quick to blame the bar for my bad day?
Then I thought about something... How often do we do the same thing to the people in our lives?
For the most part, the people in our lives are not there to wreck our days; they are there to be an enhancement in our lives.
So why do we often times hurt the people closest to us when we are having a bad day?
It sometimes takes a moment like this to stop and realize that we are in fact doing this to the ones that we love.
Leviticus 19:18You shall not take vengeance or bear a grudge against the sons of your own people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am the Lord.
So we are going to take this idea with us today and partner up to crush this WOD.
