For Bella's Birthday, I am reminded of how strong she is. As many of you know, Bella was born with cancer, but beat it. She never even had to have one day of treatment.
Throughout her first year, Bella went through so much. She had blood drawn numerous times, IVs put in, bone marrow extracted and so much more.
Even though we were freaking out as parents, she seemed to be just fine. In fact, she has been the happiest baby we know besides her other 2 siblings.
This brings up a thought of how simple life really should be.
Sometimes we need to think more Simply.
How is it that kids seem to be so resilient?
Unlike us, they actually want to be okay, they want to feel good. They long to just be happy doing the things that makes them happy. Their thought processes are simple:
-Food is fuel
-When I am sleepy, I need to sleep
-When I feel happy, I want to share that happiness with others
-Fun is usually compounded with physical activity
So for us, what will it take for us to be happy?:
Do we want to lose weight?
Do we want to feel better about ourselves?
Do we want to look better?
DO we want to be stronger?
faster
leaner
AND SO ON......
How about this?
Do what you need to do to be there for your family... emotionally, physically.
Live clean, workout, have fun, and eat right.
So here is a work out that I thought of 3 years ago in 2012 when I was looking at Bella in amazement that she is so strong.
