Thursday - WOD 134 - Crippler #3 & WOD for God

Have you ever had a bad day? I mean a really bad day?
Of course you have, who hasn't. What makes us, as adults, different than children is not that we have fewer or more bad days than a child, it is how we choose to act once we are having that bad day.

Each bad day is presented with its own unique set of:
  "SUCK Factors"

For example, forgetting your headphones and sunglasses at work Sucks, but is it really that bad. I would give that a Suck Factor of about 3 out of 10. But right after I had the thought, of "man, my days is going to SUCK because my kids took my headphones and sunglasses!" I then had a thought of how cool it was that they were probably at home playing with those things thinking about how cool their dad is. That put it right down to a 0 "Suck Factor"!

However, on the other end, having a pretty tough day at work, being tired, deciding to go to the gym to work out and then splitting your leg open on your very first Box jump.....
Well that my friends is a Suck Factor of 10! But then how is it the person that this happened to is doing okay and is actually in good spirits. Well, it might be because this person realizes that we are all faced with trials and bad days, but we know that it will only make us stronger and more complete.

The bible says
Consider it pure joy, my brothers, when you are involved in various trials, because you know that the testing of your faith produces endurance. But you must let endurance have its full effect, so that you may be mature and complete, lacking nothing. Now if any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives to everyone generously without a rebuke, and it will be given to him. ~ James 1:2-5
So Let's work on our Suck Factors and understand that even a 10, can be bumped down to maybe a 5, but you have to work on it
