One of the hardest things that we have to deal with as Christians and CrossFitters are the people in our lives who wish to knock us down and make us feel bad.
Too many of us know that there are so many roadblocks in life & our enemies are constantly trying to prevent us from doing what God intended... To Glorify Him through all aspects of our lives.
What about people that try to harm you by words or actions so that you just give up?
The best thing that we can do is to stay strong, have faith, and surround ourselves with people in our lives that we know will help us to meet our goals.
Whether they are just simple fitness goals, or you are truly trying to Glorify God by keeping your body healthy... you WILL be presented with roadblocks. And YES... many of those roadblocks and evils will be in the form of friends, family and others in your lives.
But we can't do the same thing to them. Paul suggests a better approach that I try to practice daily when evil is sometimes right at our doorstep.
"Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult. On the contrary, repay evil with blessing, because to this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing." 1 Peter 3:9
So we need to move forward, cautiously and optimistically, knowing that our Goals will be met with Roadblocks, but as long as we have faith (and each other) we will win our prize!
